Multiple Media Artists

The multiplicity of approaches and techniques that artist Michael Sandstrom employs in his art-making process coincide with the conceptual interests surrounding his work. Sandstrom's art is the result of an ongoing investigation into the way perspective reality is constructed, shaped, altered, and manipulated by a larger socially constructed reality. Challenging the complacency of the masses during a time of escalating political turmoil, his more recent works suggest--with a sense of urgency--that our future survival depends upon us (as individuals) taking responsibility for our part in the social construct in which we live.
